General fading, minor soiling, creasing and scuffing to the covers, with a bit heavier soiling/minor staining and browning to the rear cover. Faint dampstaining to the covers. Minor chipping and tearing along the extremities, with a 1 inch tear near the lower front hinge. Slight curling along the hinge. Small, faint notation in black crayon to the upper front cover. Interior clean and solid with toning to the text block. Good .

Compiled and edited by Brigadier Alastair Fyfe, this volume contains of a chapter-by-chapter memoir of this short-lived regiment, each written by serving officers at the time of the events they describe. Profusely illustrated with photographs and a campaign map of Aden, this is work provides an intimate insight into the experiences of this regiment which existed only for nine years. In publisher's original cloth binding, with original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, cloth is bright and in excellent condition. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean.
